  Its in the middle of Waterloo and fairly easy to access. There are some swings for kids though I feel there could be more. The main attraction for our family is visiting the animals. I just wish there would be a place to buy some coffee either nearby or within the park. (If there is some, I haven't seen it).

  There's so much to do in Waterloo Park! You can walk along the boardwalk down by the water and sit on a bench overlooking the ducks. Did I mention ducklings in the spring? They're adorable! There's a playground age swings for kids (or adults, no judgement), lots of fields and trails, a snack shack, and a beautiful Christmas light display in December. One of my favourite places in town to take a walk. There's also a splash pad that's open through the summer and is FREEEEEE!!!

  I like this park, mostly because it's near work and I can go for walks at lunch. The animals are great to bring kids to, as well as the splash park. Lots of areas to roam around. Great space to host events and large picnics

  I travel through the park on Laurel Trail several times per week since it's the most convenient way to get to uptown from the UW campus. Love the park in the winter when the light displays are up.

  A nice park near the centre of Waterloo. A decent place to walk through (though not very big) with a boardwalk by the lake and a (very) small zoo. Often used for sports and picnics
